Enter to Win a $50 Gift Card to the Lake Buena Vista Outlets!

It’s almost August, and you know what that means: school bells will be ringing soon, and so will cash registers during back to school shopping. The Florida Sales Tax Holiday is August 1-3, so plan now to take advantage of that. I’ll be looking for deals throughout the month.

That’s why I plan to head to Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores, where shopping is hassle-free and you can find factory-direct premium quality merchandise at savings up to 75% off (and sometimes more). Plus, there’s easy store front parking.

Here’s your chance to win a $50 gift certificate to the mall, where you can select merchandise at over 50 spacious outlet shops and get great deals at the area’s only Old Navy outlet store, newcomer U.S. Polo Assn., newly renovated Nike, OshKosh B’Gosh and Tommy Hilfiger Stores, plus other well-known outlets including G by GUESS, Justice, Carter’s, Crocs, Calvin Klein, Levi’s®, Aeropostale, Converse, Famous Footwear Outlet, Fossil, Gap, Izod, Rack Room Shoes, and many more. Don’t forget to stop by and treat yourself at Lindt Chocolate, too!

Just comment below with the store you are most likely to shop in to enter to win! Contest ends 7/25 at 10pm. This offer is only valid for one winner, one time, through 2014. No duplicate entries at multiple blogger websites, please.

Even if you don’t win, you can get in on the savings by downloading a coupon from the Center’s website, then bringing it to Travelpro at the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores to receive a coupon booklet valued up to $400 in savings. Many stores offer additional savings from 20-40% off to “Friends & Family.” Savvy discount shoppers can learn about these discounts, as well as specific stores and their hours by following the center on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, as well as visiting www.lbvfs.com. Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores is located just one mile from Walt Disney World at 15657 S. Apopka Vineland Road (State Road 535), Orlando, FL 32821-6316, and two miles south of I-4, Exit 68. Stores are open Monday-Saturday, 10am-9pm, and 10am-7pm on Sunday.

A new me

I haven't blogged much this year because I have been busy recreating myself. I seem to have my anxiety beat back enough that I could finally see myself clearly for the first time in a long time. I realized that a major part of my mental health being so bad, was that my physical health was out of control.
So I decided it was time to make some changes. I started walking in January, but kind of lost steam, like I usually do when it comes to these things. But I had an ah HA! Life changing moment at the end of February, my kids had a fundraising week all related to physical fitness. The staff of their school is very fit and my kids came home raving about how awesome crossfit was and how much they wanted to do it. On the final day they had a fun run, I watched the teacher that did the crossfit class with the kids run lap after lap, laughing and never tiring. I knew this was the last year I was going to stand on the sidelines tired and sore from just watching.
After that day I decided to switch to a paleo diet and start walking in earnest. The weight started coming off and it was a little easier to move. By the beginning of April I was down 25lbs and decided to give a boot camp class a try. I thought I was going to die, but I was hooked!
Flash forward to today. I am down about 65lbs and still eating very clean. I do boot camp 3 days a week and jog at least 2 more. I am going to try my first cross fit class soon!
I still have a ways to go, but I am a lot better off now than I was before.
